We only collect information we genuinely need to answer your enquiry and build your home, we keep it secure, and we never sell it. The sections below explain exactly what we collect and why.

What we collect

When you contact us through this website, we may collect:

• Information you give us directly through the contact form — your name, email address, phone number, location, enquiry type, and any message you send.
• Messages you send through the chat widget on the site, along with a randomly generated session ID used only to keep your conversation together.
• Standard technical information your browser sends to any website — such as your IP address and basic request logs — handled by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

We don’t ask for sensitive information through this website, and you only share what you choose to send us.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Reply to your enquiry and answer your questions.
• Prepare quotes, plans, and build schedules for your project.
• Keep in touch with you about your build and arrange site visits or delivery.

• Trades, suppliers, or transport partners involved in your specific build — and only the details they need to do their part of the job.
• Where we are required to by New Zealand law.

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires, and we take reasonable steps to keep it safe from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

Cookies & tracking

This website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we don’t run analytics that profile you across the web. The chat widget stores a short-lived session ID in your browser’s local storage purely to keep your own conversation together while you’re on the site — it’s cleared when you close the tab and isn’t used to track you. Your browser may also store fonts and images to make the site load faster on your next visit.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, and to ask us to correct anything that’s wrong. Any prices shown on this website — including the Standard and Premium figures on our model pages — are indicative starting points to help you plan, not a fixed offer or a binding quote. Your final price depends on the model, your chosen finishes and upgrades, any custom changes, and delivery to your site. We provide a fully itemised, written quote before any work begins, and that quote — not this website — is what forms the basis of your build. We may update models, specifications, and pricing on the site at any time without notice.

Content & intellectual property

The content on this website — text, photographs, designs, logos, and layout — belongs to Paragon Portables or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright. You’re welcome to view and share links to our pages, but please don’t copy, reproduce, or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our written permission. This site may link to other websites we don’t control; we’re not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Liability & governing law

We take care to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we provide it “as is” for general guidance and can’t guarantee it’s complete or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website.
