With 35 years' combined building and joinery experience, the team handcrafts every home in a single Ohoka workshop using in-house joinery, locally sourced timber, and the NZS 3604:2011 building standard. Clients deal directly with owner Luke — no sales teams, no hidden costs.

Paragon Portables is a family-owned tiny home builder in North Canterbury. Every home is designed and built to the client's spec and handcrafted in the Ohoka workshop by an experienced team. Clients work directly with owner Luke from the first conversation through to delivery, with full project management and personal service throughout.

## How Paragon builds

**Engineered for strength and stability.** Homes are constructed with treated, precision-engineered timber framing — handcrafted using proven traditional methods with rafters, purlins and bracing systems for strength and stability.

**Comfort, efficiency, and lasting finishes.** High-performance insulation ensures year-round comfort. Interiors are finished with structural plywood linings or Jib; exteriors use Hardie, weatherboard, steel cladding or select NZ timbers over a ventilated cavity system to keep moisture out.

**Built to stand up to New Zealand weather.** Roofing uses durable Colorsteel longrun sheets over a self-supporting base, paired with high-quality fascia and guttering designed for New Zealand's toughest weather.
